Yes — Hyper PLA's tensile strength of ~53 MPa exceeds standard ABS (~40 MPa). Furthermore, it prints without warping, making it a practical alternative for structural parts. However, if your parts require ABS-level heat resistance, ABS remains the better choice.

Yes. Hyper PLA sands smoothly from 120 to 400 grit and takes filler primer very well. In addition, it accepts both spray and brush paint. Because of its improved surface quality straight off the printer, you need less prep work before painting compared to standard PLA.
